Tell us -- how screwed up is Florida to not even figure out how to put up a portal for each county to allow scheduling of Covid drive-up testing appointments at sites located within each county. The way it works in Wake and most other counties is "no appointment, no test". This avoids the long lines -- but the issue currently that appointments are booked a few days out. Fortunately the local pharmacies have plenty of testing appointments available -- and may do walk-ins.

Fair enough. Then set-up call-in phone line for scheduling tests as well. Most of our local counties do this. You can schedule test appointments online, via phone, or via TTS services for the deaf. They even offer phone scheduling in Spanish.

Very sad when the federal government gives the state of Florida piles of money to help with Covid vaccinations, testing, treatments, and assistance..... and Florida wastes much of it on commercials that never mention vaccination and push nonsense which does not address Covid.

And despite the piles of money already sent to Florida for testing.... the state can't even figure out how to put up a simple website to allow appointments for drive-up testing in each county. SAD.
