I was just contrasting Ron DeSantis with the creature the Democrats offered up to lead Florida. You folks really need to vet your candidates better.

I see no sign of anything but traffic, packed restaurants etc. I went to the hospital for my yearly stress test (doc said "you're in good shape".. I said "try mowing my lawn in August") and didn't see any dead persons in the waiting room. The staff, however, was wearing masks again.

So that one anecdote means we should not have any worry whatsoever....

As for COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, that head count is up to 3,610, a 50% leap from the 2,406 reported on Aug. 5. The 3,610 represent 55% of the people in ICU beds in the reporting hospitals.


What matters more... your specific anecdote or the facts reported from hospitals.

No he said he assumed with all the concern he figured there would be bodies in the streets and everyone dead. So to him ICU utilization is meaningless and he will only feel concern is mass people were dying. Sorry if that does not align with your narrative that COVID is a hoax and no one is going to the hospital.
