DeSantis for the win

Can you explain why DeSantis can't tell the truth -- even lying directly about child COVID data in Florida?

I think I just did in the last post. But you might have been busy posting the same article over and over again, so you wouldn't have seen it.

Can you prove he lied and didn't just make a dumb mistake? I'm assuming you have a smoking gun email or something, right?

At least you acknowledged he was incorrect about the data he asserted... yet you still arrived at the wrong conclusion by the end.

Well... enjoy worshiping your local tyrant.

Of course I'll acknowledge it. I always acknowledge when an error occurs.

Since you say it was the wrong conclusion and that he is lying, please show where you have evidence that this is the case.

GWB? You still there? Huh.

Maybe he's off digging up those emails of evidence showing that this was a blatant lie.

Having schools open when your local positive test rate is above 10% (using a scientific method as per John Hopkins) is not a good decision. This violates both the CDC and WHO safe school opening guidelines.

So hence -- the wrong conclusion.

And how do we know DeSantis is lying? He opens his mouth.

there are some really funny posts from folks in this thread. Here's one that made the spike in florida and the text from our resident griefer implying it would be the end of Florida (and would never be seen by other states again). All DeSantis' fault.

Another funny one:

The only thing Florida did by opening is get the spread over with. Was gonna happen anyway, and did. Locking up didn't save anyone, which I said back then:

Hell, even you say it is different now that we "know how to handle it".

Remember when Florida "took the lead"? LOL

El Ocho telling us his state "fucking crushed it". How about now?

Which...didn't turn out the way you thought it would.

The funniest thing about THIS one is this quote:

“I would not be surprised if we go up to 100,000 [new cases] a day if this does not turn around.”

That's the great thing about adaptive modeling. You can just adjust your faulty bullshit.

I don’t know about your take that getting it over with was the right approach. In July Florida was a major hotspot and deaths in LTC fatalities rose by more than 20% by the end of the month.

The (very obvious) point was that while everyone, including you, was calling for the end of Florida in the June/July time frame, I was pointing out that this was merely a second wave that would occur everywhere else. Just happened in Florida first because of the timing. And it did occur everywhere else. Many places far worse.

But you folks were all about pointing out the supposed flawed policy and governor. Quite funny, actually, just how off you were.

Do you think this Catfight will go on past a year. Anniversary is May 21..I’m taking bets it will.

Probably. I don't imagine people are going to let up on attacking DeSantis. He's too much of a threat to the Narrative.

By the way, 12 posts - new username?

Right, of course. No proof at all, just the ol' GWB "fact" spouting.
