If DeSantis was doing so well with his policies then the Florida COVID death rate would be dropping.
Like in North Carolina? Dropping like that? If your governor was doing a good job, the death rate wouldn't be doubling or tripling would it? LOL

Our governor and his public health director hold press briefings nearly every day. They outline that things are bad --- and what they are doing well and what is not going well. All in a very honest straight-forward manner. The primary message is that people need to follow the rules if they desire for things to improve.
The only good news over the past few days is that the trend in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths is now down... We are hoping this trend continues.
So when is Ron DeSantis holding a press briefing with reputable public health officials to give honest information about the COVID situation in Florida and urging the state follow the health measures recommended for the state by the federal government?
Right, right. So when death counts in North Carolina are two or three times as high now, its because of some other reason besides bad governorship. But in Florida, death counts being as high as they were last summer are a testament to a bad governor.
What a joke.
Tell me, do you actually believe the horseshit you try to shovel?

Yeah... yeah... bullshiat... "My narrative has always been about the number of people dying." The number of people dying in Florida in January is at a all time high yet not a word from you about the current situation or trends...
Remember, boys and girls. When the number is at (near, actually) an all-time high in Florida, DeSantis is a bad governor.
When it is double or triple what it used to be (and at all time highs) in North Carolina, it is due to good things happening at the state level. Or something.

The GWB narrative:
I would like to note that COVID deaths in North Carolina yesterday on February 1st was a total of 7. On Jan 31st it was 48. Yeah... our deaths, cases, and hospitalizations are in a downtrend in North Carolina. Let's hope it continues. The spike was caused by holiday travel -- according to experts.
It should also be noted our death totals include patients that were brought to our hospitals from neighboring states. Our healthcare systems are significantly better than the border regions of surrounding states -- so their COVID patients are being brought to our ICUs.
At least our governor is being straight-forward and honest about the COVID situation in our state and is putting policies in place aligned with federal recommendations -- unlike the governor of Florida. Governor Cooper's next COVID news conference is at 2pm today -- feel free to listen in to understand the proper way for a political leader to address COVID.
Right. There are all sorts of reasons why it spiked in North Carolina. When it spikes in Florida, there is only one reason: DeSantis is bad.
I honestly don't give a rat's ass about what happens in North Carolina. I don't fixate/obsess on a state that isn't mine for more than a fleeting glance. But pointing out the blatant hypocrisy you tend to throw around regularly is rather hilarious.
