Who gives a shit about the CDC guidance? Certainly not me.
DeSantis - or anyone else in power (and there are others, of course) - who give out vaccines to people for influence or money should be completely slammed for doing so. If not sued.
So are you going to sue DeSantis for giving out the COVID vaccine to his donors and supporters in The Villages first. This was well covered in the press.

And I'm not surprised it was covered in the press. It's DeSantis. They hate him. What is disappointing is all the other cases that weren't covered.
Yeah --- why don't you go ask the elderly living in The Villages what they think about the DeSantis dog & pony show where he gave the vaccine to 5 of his political donors. And then all the days since where only the GOP donors in The Villages are having any success at getting the vaccine (no lines required for them).
Or you can just go read to articles posted on this thread from The Villages newspaper to hear what the elderly living there think.
I know quite a few of my parent's friends who live in the villages. They all are big fans of DeSantis. Only one of them thinks like you do (she's a raging progressive).
If they are both donors and big fans then they can get the vaccine without waiting in line.
The Villages has a high level of support for GOP.
But distributing the vaccine based on your political donations and party support -- as is being done in The Villages -- is completed absurd.
