Are you denying the COVID deaths in Florida doubled in a three week period over the Thanksgiving timeframe until early December? Somehow you view it as "well if other states went up then Florida has no problem".
I thought you asserted Florida was "special" due to Gov. DeSantis' "great leadership" and his regulations would "protect the vulnerable". Is doubling the nursing home death rate considered "protecting the vulnerable". I would say allowing patients and visitors in/out of nursing homes in Florida with no COVID tests under DeSantis' orders is the exact opposite of "protecting the vulnerable".
Please show how the data is bunk. Oh, you can say it all you want but you must have proof that shows how the nursing home data isn't accurate, right? I mean, you're the guy saying there isn't proof of election fraud without showing irrefutable proof, you wouldn't follow a double standard now, right?
No. Florida clearly went from .23 to .47 - and this is clearly a statistical doubling of the number. Of course, the whole US went from .78 to 1.53 during the same period.
What I'm laughing uproariously at you about is how DeSantis is clearly doing a wonderful job, because Florida has some of the best numbers (and in one category THE BEST) vs. the nation.

If the AARP data showed how badly Florida was doing, there'd be none of these allegations. It would be accepted unilaterally. You're so much fun!
And as noted.... if South Dakota has three nursing homes total and two get infected with COVID -- leading to a high death percentage for the state -- but actually a small number of deaths then somehow this death ration has the same weighting as other states in defining the national average. As noted in the articles.... there is a need for weighted numbers by state to get the true picture of the situation. It would be fair to compare Florida to other heavily populated states with many nursing homes ... but not to rural states with few nursing homes. To be fair Florida has done better than some heavily populated states and worse than others.
Yet you claimed that Gov. DeSantis' great policies would "protect the vulnerable" in Florida and make the state a haven against COVID. The only thing protecting the vulnerable in Florida against the winter COVID wave is that the average temperature in the state is warmer than most other states.
Keep defending DeCuntis, it worked out so well for you when defending Trump.
