No-----no it hasn't. As you can see from your own postings, lock-downs work against society and the destruction of the virus. It's no secret that the violence this year began after the public was locked down. The ramifications of lock-downs are much greater than the damage that would be done by letting it spread----in my view.
The violence had nothing to do with the lockdown. That had to do with a political movement. Had this not been an election year, we would probably have not even heard from BLM. The Coronavirus would have been another Swine Flu and that would have been the end of it.
But because Orangeman Bad, here we are.

Not yet it isn't. Not fully. They re-closed from a second outbreak. They are set to open once again, but I'm not sure they have. At least WaPo says they haven't as of three days ago.
The lock-down provided an opportunity to see that local governments would be in chaos if any trouble was started and so they started it. It's no coincidence that society begins breaking down when lock-downs are imposed and freedoms for law-abiders are taken away.
New Zealand locked down fully one metro area for 3 days due to an outbreak from incoming people who failed to adhere to their 14 day quarantine and spread COVID. In the last week they eliminated the travel and gathering restrictions on Monday in all but one city (Auckland will have some restrictions for 16 more days from Monday this week) as well as mask requirement in areas with high cases counts. Things are back to normal - the lesson from this is don't let incoming people in quarantine off the premise of the hotel they are placed in -- better security is needed.
