DeSantis for the win

The DeSantis administration called her all sorts of names, slut shamed her, and claimed she was incompetent. Within 48 hours of being fired she set up an alternative data portal that shows realistic Florida COVID-19 data -- so much for the incompetence claim. All of here claims on the time-line of data being removed deliberately from the Florida COVID portal as well as the deliberate "unannounced and abrupt changes" have been proven to be true.

It is slut shaming to say someone was guilty of sexual harassment? Uh huh. As for her allegations "proven to be true", which ones? And you can't use her as a source. Please show me what was proven to be true. Happy to discuss it. Let me guess, you're going to now tell me how you posted this hundreds of times and to go read some thread or posts somewhere (which means you can't post it now)?

As outlined in the article - No media outlet in Florida trusts the DeSantis administration COVID portal data. The DeSantis administration has done everything possible to be less than transparent with data (as outlined in the article and many other media outlets).

The Florida COVID portal went from being considered "the gold standard in data transparency and accessibility" to being "one of the most corrupt and inaccessible systems in the country" -- after the DeSantis administration politicized the portal to drive their re-open agenda.

It is critical at the time of a public health crisis that the government is fully transparent with disease data - failure to do this will cause all people to distrust the government. No reasonable person trusts the DeSantis state government COVID data in Florida.

All of the media outlets in Florida you have posted are incredibly liberal, so there is no surprise they don't like the governor and are determined to make him look bad. But the data (on non-Florida sites even) still shows deaths are not spiking yet. If that changes, you might have a point. Until then, you're still shouting at the rain (and doing it all day every day, I might add).

Ok -- tell us what happened to the sexual harassment charges.... oh they were dismissed.

I take it when a relationship goes bad -- individuals can make up all sorts of wild stuff that they take to the police claiming their former girlfriend did.

I will make point that I have posted numerous articles about the lack of data transparency in Florida. Many provided details on items removed from the state portal or alterations in the data feed that eliminated data fields without advance warning. This has all been covered in the media - it is easy to look-up.

Let me say it is pretty obvious when Florida removes data items from it's state COVID-19 portal - it was there yesterday and missing today. ICU / hospitalization information was present earlier and suddenly missing in May. Likewise for an media organization trying to use the state's COVID data feeds from the portal - it is obvious when something is changed in the data format and fields that were there yesterday are missing today.

They were dismissed as part of a settlement. Something common when someone leaves. If she was wrongfully terminated, where is the lawsuit? If someone let me go because I wasn't "falsifying data", you can bet your bottom dollar I'd be speaking to a lawyer.

Where are the allegations you said "proven to be true"?

Do you have support on that? Because I'd hate to think you just ignored my question. That would never happen, right, gwb?

The criminal charges were not dismissed as part of a settlement. They were dismissed by the courts as having no basis in fact. They were dismissed even before DeSantis slut shamed her.

I expect that it is just a matter of time before she receives a sizable settlement from the state of Florida. If a corporate CEO stood up in a media conference and slut shamed a female employee for charges that already dismissed -- and she was not convicted of -- then you can bet there would be a sizeable settlement. I expect the state of Florida will learn a similar lesson. I may be right or I may be wrong -- but I expect it is just a matter of waiting to see if I am correct. The problem is that any settlement might be sealed so we get little details about the numbers -- because it was a "personnel situation"

Other than the shocking admission to the fact that "you may be right or you may be wrong" which had me speechless for a moment, what had me laughing is that if this woman had been dismissed from any state in the country for any other thing than being related to the Covid statistics, OR if she had been running around supporting the numbers coming from Florida's data, you'd have completely the opposite position. But because she supports a narrative you are pushing, you are rah-rah Go Rebecca!!

So funny. She's not a valid source. You say I can't use the Florida portal with you, so I've acquiesced (when dealing with you). I say you can't use an employee who was fired from the state and has a personal vendetta against the state as a source.

Right, so

So any links from her website which shows the changes in the Florida DOH data feed are invalid.

At this point these are documented changes..... obvious facts.... not some type of opinion.

If you want detailed information on the changes feel free to contact COVID-19@FLHealth.gov to request a complete list of revisions in their data feed from March until now. Go get it straight from the horse's mouth.
