I read the entire article before I posted it. This was a quote to allow DeSantis to present his position..... further confirming he is not fit to be governor of Florida.

Holy crap, I haven't laughed so hard in a while. That was hilarious. You can see how utterly pissed off Chris Cuomo is at this point. Even mimicking the body language after DeSantis's opening speech. LOL

Chris starts off saying by saying "Florida is in dire straights." Huh, but only a few people are actually dying from it. Deaths per day is still lower than a bunch of other states despite cases jumping. DIRE!

Then he says "Listen to Florida's governor boasting last month at what great shape Florida is in." Of course DeSantis says nothing at all about any of that. He doesn't say the state is in "Great shape" or even imply it. All he says in that clip is that the media claimed Florida would be the next New York, the next Italy (and they did) and it isn't. And it hasn't been.

That's all he said.

The rest of the video is an absolutely hilarious display of false lamentation of "if only Woody had gone straight to the police, this would never have happened!"

He mentions cases. Case counts. People infected. Not. Once. Does. He. Mention. Deaths.
