Not to mention you can't point to Florida's high case counts and then claim they are hiding death counts because the numbers aren't where you want them to be.

And Florida's actions have it significantly better than many other states that did everything you and the Covidians cheered.

Of course. Florida is number 17 in terms of the number of dead per 1M pop. This is despite having the second largest population of elderly as a % of total pop in the country.

Of course, lunatics like GWB will try to pick a specific time to look at that pushes their narrative: "You have to look at April 3rd 2021 to July 6th" or something stupid like that, claiming this period is the only period of data that is relevant (because it makes their case a good one)./

Since the time when vaccines were widely available, Florida was a leader in Covid deaths per capita in the U.S. The majority of these deaths were completely avoidable if Florida followed proper public health policy.

Incidentally, I am pro-choice. I do not support anti-abortion laws. But I understand how folks on the right go overboard with laws because they see idiocy on the left saying abortions can be up until birth.

Florida bans 28 math textbooks in panic over Critical Race Theory

The state of Florida is rejecting 28 mathematics textbooks as a result of Republicans' purported outrage over Critical Race Theory.


On Friday, Florida Commissioner of Education Richard Corcoran announced that the state had rejected the math textbooks under the state's Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) standards.

DeSantis praised the banning of math textbooks.
