The intent once again is to compare the timeline from May 11th to May 25th once the 14 day period has passed.
As clearly seen on the two charts; the first one you posted showed the trend going down from May 11th to May 25th due to the delayed data in Florida. The revised chart later show the data trend from May 11th to May 25th basically flat with a slight downtrend at best. For example -- the earlier chart show 2 deaths on May 24th while the second chart shows 35.
As stated earlier... there is not any type of drastic decline of COVID cases or deaths in Florida or Georgia that the governors are trying to project.
