DeSantis for the win

We will go back after all the deaths for this time period are posted (which will be several weeks from now due to delays in Florida) --- and count the number of deaths by date in the 20 day and 30 days windows.

We can. And it is quite possible that this will be a correct statement at sometime in the future. But when it was made, referring to 2000 deaths that occurred already, the statement I made about reported was correct.

That count right now is about 833 (and I think I actually did 21 days).

Let's see what the paper in Miami thinks...

Yeah, because most of us care what the Miami Herald thinks.

On Friday, 130,000 students will return. When given the choice, their parents chose in-person learning over virtual classes for their kids.

Good. This is fantastic news. More and more people waking up to the line of bullshit they've been fed.

Yet all the data is not reported for three weeks. The current chart is meaningless.

Can you explain to us why the Florida COVID portal no longer allows the user to create a COVID death by data chart for more than one month back. When deaths are not reported/allocated for at least three week then a mere one month chart is useless. The only intent can be to show a continually declining death chart to mask the reality.

I would advise you to send questions only you care about to the Florida Department of Health.

Here is a link if you want the data beyond one month. I plan on updating to see if this forecast will be any different than the others (so blatantly incorrect). It might, but I do not have high hopes.

You already know I am in regular discussions with them. They have no explanation on why the Florida COVID portal was changed to only show deaths in a chart for the last month only. They also have no explanation on why they no longer have data feeds on the website.

I can just imagine their faces "Crap, Julie....that freak from North Carolina is on line two again about the data conspiracy. Its your turn to talk to him."

I just edited my above post with what data is available.

So explain to us why Florida Atlantic University, other Florida universities, Florida media sources and the Rebekah Jones portal all has the death data taken from county, AHCA and hospital information --- but somehow the official Florida state COVIT portal is unable to provide data feeds or a death chart for more than one month back -- items that the state portal used to have. Why was it eliminated?

I don't know, and honestly don't care. Again, you should direct your inane questions to the Department of Health.

Maybe they go "other folks are providing the collated data, we don't have to waste resources on it." Maybe DeSantis is actually a Lizard-People alien and is plotting the complete and utter destruction of the state like you believe. Who knows?

Explain to us why more and more data that was previously on Florida's COVID website keeps getting removed and is no longer present.

You should be concerned with this complete reduction of transparency as a Florida resident.

You keep asking me to explain things that only you care about. I don't give a shit about even checking to see whether what you say is accurate or not, much less do I care why it might be accurate.

As to your second statement, I don't care because I'm enjoying the fact that life is back to normal here in Florida. Most Floridians feel the same.

Hey, I know! Maybe you can post another Miami Herald article. I know they would care.
