Ron DeSantis spokesperson teases major announcement: ‘Liberal media meltdown’
The office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is set to make a “major” announcement Thursday morning, a spokesperson said.
Taking to Twitter Wednesday night, DeSantis’ press secretary Christina Pushaw teased the impact of the announcement and said it will cause the “liberal media meltdown of the year.”
“MAJOR announcement tomorrow morning from @GovRonDeSantis. Prepare for the liberal media meltdown of the year,” Pushaw wrote. “Everyone get some rest tonight.”
Some people immediately began speculating if the announcement concerns the 2024 presidential election, as the Florida governor is well-liked among Republican voters.
DeSantis consistently tops polls of potential 2024 Republican candidates, usually just behind former President Donald Trump.
After a user mentioned DeSantis’ lead in internal polling, Pushaw responded that the announcement would be an official one, not about his campaign.

The 2024 GOP Field is shaping up to be the strongest in generations.
The question is, when does he officially declare.
If you guys can keep trump from murderfing DeSantis and Youngkin shoudl be fine in 2024 but trump is not going down without taking these guys with him. If the whole GOP turns their back on trump than their new stars can shine.

The falling out with Rupert Murdoch is going to be far more lethal to Trump than snippy stuff with DeSantis.
I don't know how Trump gets his campaign out there without Fox and Twitter. Even though Trump was banned on Twitter, all things Trump were/are still processed and amplified there.
The lefty media holds the same power and it is not pretty. The media pumped up Hillary in 2008 beyond comprehension because she was the leftiest one in the game. The when a prettier and leftier face- Obama- came along, they pulled the plug on her and she famously said that she got better coverage over on Fox News.
The lefty media will continue to quasi-protect Biden because they are not sure if they have a Plan B. When they sort that out, and if they do, then boom, they will pull the plug on Biden.
It's a blood sport.
