Thats not really rich these days sadly, i make nearly that after tax just as a software developer.
I would suggest $500K a year after taxes as a minimum aim.

You know the answer already, compounding. Double your account, double your lot and bet size.
Doesn't take long to get to say 32 NQ lots:

1->2->4->8->16->32 lots

I read it took 100 doublings to create the universe from almost nothing.
But it only takes 5 doublings to get to a lot size where you can make a very decent living.

Yes, you right sir. You right. I just gotta keep on going and get that account up and double/triple them contracts.

For my trading, I am risking 5% of my account balance per trade. So the fast the account balance goes up the faster the contract size goes up .

Spending time with your kids is an easy cure for feeling empty inside. I think i am going to be depressed when all mine become adults. Im hoping for grandkids but the way everyone is having kids later and i am not sure how old i am going to be when that happens.

I agree. $500K minimum is a good amount.
That is why I need trading income to go to $400,000 per year minimum. but I got some ways to go to get there.
I am working on it.

Start making preparations on dealing with taxes. If not
you'll find yourself sharing a large % with the I.R.S.

Things like using an LLC and buying dirt cheap fixer
upper realestate, and never fixing it up will save you
a lot of money with the Taxman.

Certain types of problems grow when you get to making good money. Also, most people don't continue to make great money for their whole life, it's usually a short period of time. So what happens? They get big money, big problems, money goes away, big problems remain.

I have no kids, freaks me out to think of having any . After what I've been thru in life it's hard for me to look at any little kid and think the world is gonna be OK for them

I need to get in touch with some authors but I have no degree and am worried about ivory tower people stealing my idea , perhaps irrational given that there is plenty of evidence I originated this line of inquiry

It looks like you're really deep down the rabbit hole. And I mean really fking deep.
So deep that the sun doesn't shine for you because you have nothing else but your work. Your entire self worth is tied to that which makes your life a living hell since emotions are extremely volatile for you right now.

Been there, done that. It's a shitty place to be in and only you can dig yourself out of it. Find something to counterbalance that weight. Something trivial which you might even think is moroninc
