depression

Hi OP, I do remember you, in one of my first posts on this forum you didn't hesitate to throw a lot of rubbish at me and here you are, asking for help. I found your replies a bit out of context with a weird sense of aggression that I didn't understand and that has been mainly your style replying to others for a while.

If you think that you are going to get help on a forum from strangers you cannot be more wrong, you probably will get kindness, but that is all. Since you seem to be intelligent and most of your comments show that you are educated, I think you understand that by yourself. Hence it is more 'attention seeking' what you are looking for with this post, if you really needed help you wouldn't be planning vacations, you would look for a professional to help you with your problems.

You are lucky that most of the replies are coming from kind people and they wish you well, so bear that in mind next time you reply to someone, maybe a bit of kindness will help you a lot more than you think.

And dump whatever religion you are worshipping, your indoctrination has failed.

The OP said in his opening post on this thread "a few people I do know like to attack me", when i read that i saw an obvious red flag, there must be a reason for that, something the OP is doing that gets that response. When one person attacks you it might be them. When it is more than one it is probably you.

Hello Millionaire,

Yes, it best to be nice and kind to people.

Being nice and kind is free, and cost nothing. There is really nothing to be mad about as long as you are breathing.

If your personality is leaning towards an introvert character and those others are noy ,,like minded people" than it's twice as damaging.

Try working in a solo skill, and finding like-minded people. Visit coffee bars on regular basis, just to stay among/with the people.

Make sure you're eating properly/enough and exercise. Our body is made for movement.

EVEN more than slobs shoveling junk food in a public place/LOL its overpriced junk food :D:D At least MCD+ WMT price thier tasty junk food to sell\cheap.:D:DHunting helps/ walkin' helps.
Introverts may tend to be discouraged more than most.
Church, Psalms+ Proverbs help.
Sunlight helps\that why some get depressed during rainy days...........................................................
NOT a prediction but bitcon or bmw will not help/even though it maybe a thrill to buy from a dealer.....................................................................................................
I assume we are mature enough to walk /exercise even if we dont ''feel like it''

We give less credit to fitness than it deserves. Weight lifting/explosive workouts with our own body weight, not only does it slow the aging, but preserves the cognitive ability.

And the feeling after great workout, in summer, the looks from the girls, - no medicine can provide such state of being ,,high" :)

The best is 'RUNNERS HI'. No sport or physically activity I've ever done comes close, except for you know what :D

I agree with Maxinger. You're already showing progress in this thread.

Take control of the things in your life that you can control and start improving. Let go of that which you can't control.

Just a quick word on medication:

My doctor actually prescribed anti-depressants to me back in the day, but I never used it after doing some research and seeing how bad many people felt on it. Also, I knew the cause of my depression and knowing the cause I figured I could fix it naturally. And that I did, although it took me quite some time.

What I did use, though, was calming agents. Both over the counter and on prescription (easy to get addicted, so requires some discipline). This was because I knew the value of being able to get a great night of sleep at least once in a while and to calm down my body which often was in an agitated state during that period.

I'm no expert on anti-depressants or even depression. I think it's quite likely that some people need those drugs. But I'm 100 % convinced that way too many are put on those drugs who don't really need them and could get well through other means. Often it's just a band-aid approach without addressing the real problem.
Withings sleep monitor is a great help. Excellent advice too. Thank you sir
