Dendreon (DNDN) Tuesday. Cure for Cancer? Does stock go to $0, or $75 after Tues.?

Quote from SCI new york:

Do you trade options? Yes implied volatility plays a large role, but the price of the stock will be a bigger indication on the option value. The closer the stock comes to the strike price, the valuation increases.
I trade about 1200 option contracts a month.

DNDN closed only up about 5-10% from Monday's closing price. Why would you go from 1600%+ to negative from a 5-10% change in underlying price?

Wait, or are you complaining about missing out on the fantasy mark-to-market pricing from the halted time period yesterday?

If you're up 1500% on your calls, you should be taking some money off the table (roll or close some) or hedging the gains (buy puts, convert to spreads, short some stock) etc.
Quote from Darkhand:

That's the whole point. He couldn't.
My take was that he could have captured the gain since he said that when the stock ran up, his calls which cost $1.40 were worth nearly 8. I assume that was before the plunge. I don't know about other people but IMO, steps should always be taken so that no matter what happens, a good chunk of it is locked in.

how high is the wrong question to ask.

I'll tell you how wrong you are (again). Cramer said "sell".

Of course, his biotech newsletter writer says, "mid 30's in days to weeks". But when you owe your' old friends, you pay.

It's a blockbuster. Teh selloff was a scam: you 'll be reading about investigations here in the next few days.
Get over it. And yourself.

amatures like you always say wow how much can i make. pros ask how much can i lose.
the trial showed no reversal in the cancer. only a possibility of 4 months of longer life before you die but at a cost of 50-80 thousand dollars. they said about 100,000 men could be eligable per year. probably no more than 10% of them could afford the drug. you are left with a very small revenue base. hardly a blockbuster.

Several big funds are approaching the DNDN trying to buy shares directly from the company, we are talking about several million shares per funds. (Rumor including Gates foundation where Buffett promised 1B per year, GS...)

This is very good news for DNDN, it will significant boost the company balance sheet and let the company launch multiple trials to make Provenge the drug of the decade!

We will see our share price double when Buffet news hit the wire!

Bill Gates was the biggest share holder of the little company which makes Cialis (24 hour Viagra) he is in charge of BRKA investing now.

Any guesses on whether a NOBEL PRIZE will be award for this development??? Has bee looked for for DECADES and this is the first to work. I think it would DEFINATELY be in the running
