Judge Judy denied the stay requested by the government on the classified documents because she claims their status is in dispute. For the record, their status as classified is not in dispute in her court. In the above the government clearly states the documents are classified and Trump’s team did not in fact dispute this. She is getting this dispute language from watching tv.

For the record, this does not matter for any of the statutes he is being investigated under but if this is viable or determined to be legal this would mean any president can hold any documents regardless of classification level after their presidency is over and outside of the government.
