And yet the opposition still claps like seals at the speech. People who voted against him still like him. It's no wonder freedoms are being cast aside. If you vote for those who wish to control you, that's exactly what you'll get. FC, AK, and others are willing to sacrifice because they think they'll get a better world. They won't.

The gun depicted is a Rem 870 Tactical Magnum but only a pimp or a gangster would own a magnum shotgun configured with no stock or recoil pad. But the 870 has a great reputation for reliability. There is virtually nothing that can go wrong with the mechanism and it can be depended on to cycle and function when needed.

The procedure for home defense with a pump shotgun is as follows:

1) Load a couple of shells into the magazine.

2) Rack a shell into the chamber before confronting the intruder. Most people will break and run upon hearing that sound.

3) If the intruder has not fled, brace the stock of the gun firmly against your shoulder, aim at the intruder and squeeze the trigger.

4) Admire the modern art creation now decorating your living room wall.

5) Call a carpenter, a painter and the carpet people after the coroner removes the body bag.

6) Clean the gun and put it away with the magazine empty. Storing an 870 with the magazine full fatigues the large spring in the magazine. A shotgun should only be loaded just before you need to use it. The same goes for pistols. You should not store pistol magazines for an automatic filled with bullets. If you feel you must have a weapon that is ready to fire stored in the nighstand long term consider a revolver.

Eventually they will come for that "dangerous assault shotgun". Once the public has signed onto the logic that "mean looking" weapons are dangerous and can be banned by the government, weapons like that will be intensely targeted by the gun ban crazies. They will have hearings about these "non-duck hunting shotguns" and how they are a menace and do not belong on our streets. They will say how the only thing they are good for is holding up liquor stores and killing people.

This is how they will institute gun control. The state of IL. is considering a mandatory minimum for illegally carrying a gun. What's illegal is yet to be determined. Sounds good, right? Let's dig a little deeper. Average Joe, no criminal record has a unlicensed gun, gets pulled over and they find the gun. He gets 3 years, which is the minimum they're talking about. Gangbanger with an extensive criminal record gets caught in the very same situation with a gun. He gets 3 years too. The judge will have no discretion in sentencing with mandatory minimums, so Mr. John Q. Public gets treated like he's a gangbanger.
The presumed outcome here is obvious. Mr. Public just won't take the risk and the real gangbanger will do what they do now, ignore the law and do the time when/if busted. Result will be no change to violent crime, and a good amount of regualr Joe's having their lives ruined should they choose to own a gun.
The radical left has an agenda, which is to criminalize all behavior which does not comply with their way of thinking. It's PC taken to the next level. They now eliminate all discussion by calling everyone a racist, sexist, homophobe, etc. etc. You can't disagree with out being labeled. The next, and obvious step, is to criminalize behavior which they don't like. First they take away your right to speak your mind, then they take away your freedom to live your life. Stalin would be proud. Good job comrades.
