Universities offer scholarships and host programs dedicated to securing enrollment of their alumni’s children.
Attending an HBCU provides legacy students with educational support and a deep-rooted connection to Black culture that their parents experienced but through their own lens.

If we want college admissions in the U.S. to be a true meritocracy then the universities need to do away with both race-based admissions and legacy admissions.
However I doubt very much if major universities will eliminate legacy admissions. The endowments of many universities come from these alumni -- many times they are multi-generational alumni with vast fortunes. A number of these universities would no longer be operating if these previous donations from alumni were not given. Eliminating legacy admissions will ensure that future donations are cut off to these universities.

Of course there is proof, dummy. Otherwise they would not have launched a costly lawsuit. Easy to prove that others with much lower scores and objectively worse essays got in but not that Asian kid. Those are the things that the university had to release during discovery.
No man... the lawsuit had nothing to do with that one Asian kid.... THERE WAS NO PROOF.
Dude do me a favor ands top spitting out Fox news and go look at the facts... Harvard did not released other accpeted kids essays to the Supreme court.. The decided on the general principle...had nothing to do with that Asian kid...just needed a plaintiff to assert standing since the PAC is hte one who brought the case on his behald...
