In other news, an anonymous source has been quoted as having received information from an unnamed person who can verify an anonymous person’s detail from Kavanaugh’s early life.
Namely - when Brett was 3 years old, and while undergoing toilet training - HE SHIT HIS PANTS.

If it is just that, then it is stupid and he will be confirmed. His views are antiquated and religious and stupid, but there is not much that can be done about it. We are just going to have to pull a weekend at bernie's if something happens to RBG in the next couple of years.

I will give them another week because Grassley did the right thing yesterday.

The dems moved to adjourn and delay the hearings and confirmation vote.

But Grassley asserted his role as chair and scheduled the vote for next Thursday.

That was the right thing to do. Doesnt mean they wont be sidetracked by some distraction but at least he stood up to that little move yesterday. I am not sure the rules allowed a vote with less than a week's notice.

That also gives the dems another week to discover those late library books that Kavanaugh paid a fine on in 1984.
