Democrats Prepare to ‘Fundamentally Reform’ Capitalism

Does anyone care to remember “Corporate Inversions”? Ireland?

The issue at hand is that current corporate income tax rates in the US are roughly at international averages. In other words, competitive.

Biden raising them 7% - that’s undisputed. No one denies that.

No CEO can ignore 7% on earnings. Annually. That’s a big number. Every year. That’s how PWC, KPMG, and Deloitte makes big Partner money on inversions.

When it comes to Obama, as someone whos taking no side, here's something interesting :

Please allow me to quote Rule 13 in Chapter 16 "Success" Rules from The is the road to stock market success by George Seamans.

Rule 13. Do not permit your opinions about political matters to influence your market judgment. You may have a "soft spot" for the under-dog and sympathize with the "New Deal", "oppressed peoples", "labor", and other "causes" that is your "private" affair but marketwise consider speeches by the President objectively so that you may gauge every possibility and reaction. What may be perfectly "right", and even "noble" from a "social, moral and religious" standpoint, can be 100% wrong from a market standpoint ("freedom from want" and "soak the rich", for example).

Learn to exercise professional judgment as regards your stock market operations. Do not allow political leanings to interfere with your trading. You cannot ride two horses at the same time. If you could you would be in the circus. (When in Rome, do as the Romans did. They threw Mussolini out because of political leanings which interfered with the welfare of the nation).

Obama said he was going to "fundamentally transform America".

I thought he was just milk toast, but he really did a LOT of damage to our country and was "too successful" on his pledge to fundamentally reform us, sad to say.

Obama might find a management job in the private sector.

Trump will have difficulties to find a job, even as a sanitary cleaner. Nobody wants him in their company. And surely not in a responsible job.

Obama has an education, Trump has not. Trump even had to pay somebody to pass his most elementary school education. Tells a lot about his qualifications.

Dumb shit! We've already had the "change of course". It's just getting blamed on Trump.

You think things are shitty now? Just wait until the next time the Dems have control.

:(

Off course. The bad things were not Trump's fault. But the good things were all thanks to superman Trump. :banghead:

For the Trump voters (because most will not understand me) : I am sarcastic.

IMV, Obama is the GREATEST LIAR THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN! And he lied at every turn to do as much harm to America as he thought he could get away with.

And what about DemoCrap supporters... ANTIFA, BLM,... rioters, looters, criminals all.

You just confirmed my opinion: Bad was others fault, and good was thanks to Trump.

The logic and reasoning of people with a simple mind (just like Trump).

Oh, I see. You're an America hater just like Obama.

Perhaps you should move to somewhere where they think like you.

He is not an America hater, he is a Trump hater. Don't twist his words (like Trump does all the time).
I know it is almost impossible as a Trump supporter to be intellectual honest. Intellectual is already a problem, and honest is an even bigger problem. Just like it is for the big leader Donald. He is by far the biggest liar of all Presidents the US ever had.

And what @SteveM wrote is for 100% correct and proven by a lot of arguments that can be checked. Ask an average Trump voter what GDP means and he will have no clue at all.
