Gov needs to expand PPF. One thing I'll give credit to Trump was that in his belligerence he still came off as kind of "pro-business." I think combining a pro-business attitude with the right infrastructure (smart people at the top, good investments in education & healthcare, etc.), and we can push out the US PPF far out.
The BLS is the first department that needs to go away in 2021. They don't know what they are on about.
The only workers making $30 per hour are upper-managers in corporations. So the "average hourly-wage being $30/hour" figure is a flat out miscalculation.
Go into any service-sector-related business, which is the majority of this country, and ask them how much they are earning per hour. Most of them will tell you $15 per hour or less. And the majority of those? They will tell you $10 or less. This is why we have so many people at the federal poverty level. Because they cannot earn enough money to save so when they lose their jobs they can still buy food.
