Democrats Prepare to ‘Fundamentally Reform’ Capitalism

Well, none of these things came to pass.

In the last 20 years, I've seen the cost of healthcare insurance increase from a reasonable $200 per month to $1000 per month for the exact same coverage. A self-employed middle class man trying to insure a family of four needs to come up with nearly $3000 per month.

How is this possibly sustainable?

Go drive around your local city, or take a walk through your local Wal-Mart or Target. Observe how the people around you look. Observe the quality of products on the shelves. Look at all of the people sleeping on the streets.

Does 2020 capitalist America look like an exceptional country anymore to you? It certainly does not look exceptional to me.

Some change of course is long overdue.
