This is something else. Venezuela has been run by marxists for quite a few years. So it's the usual scenario: they hate producers, they destroy the economy. Now their Head Gazook has been given dictatorial powers. Democrats like leaders that are "really going to take charge, really going to get things done" right? (Reuters) - Venezuelan lawmakers granted year-long decree powers to President Nicolas Maduro on Tuesday that he says he needs to fix the economy and stamp out graft, but the opposition sees as a thinly veiled power grab.

The National Assembly's vote to approve the so-called Enabling Law had been widely expected after Maduro garnered the two-thirds support he needed, or 99 votes, during a preliminary debate last week.

Obama doesn't even go through the facade of getting congress to vote. As long as democrats control the Senate, he knows he is safe from impeachment. He can do pretty much as he likes, and no one is going to challenge him.

He has successfully intimidated the Supreme Court and its weak Chief Justice. He ignores the lower federal courts when they have ruled against him. He defies congress and its oversight role as a matter of course. The Federal Reserve is subservient to his political goals and makes no bones about it.

Is this the same guy that recently arrested 100 business owners for raising prices too fast?

If so, awesome. He should immediately arrest every business owner and execute them. Then kill everyone who even thought about starting a business. By golly, that'll show those evil capitalists who's boss. What a great way to attract foreign investment. I mean, dictor'll send him a 10% tithe. Not sure how much a Lincoln a week will help though.
