unfortunately I can no longer defend the large majority of losers called republicans. They did what i thought could not be done. Squandered and opportunity to rule for a generation. I simply can not believe they did not come out with any positive legislation.
unfortunately I know the democrats do not have my interests in heart.
to be a democratic leader is to be by definition an insincere back stabbing liar. The radical fringe groups force such behavior on their leaders. I do not have a problem with fringe groups wanting to have their say. the problem is that the dems have to cobble all these groups together in a sick stew.
I more or less agree. It is time for the moderate Republicans to start thinking for themselves and for the moderate Democrats to become intolerant of the completely irrational and unrealistic views of the fringe groups. Then these moderates need to get together in a new party and run this country with some common sense, result oriented efficiency, getting out of people's private lives and affairs, other governments affairs, and with some good conservative fiscal discipline. The fringes of both parties have turned the middle on itself and its time we, the moderate majority, stop playing along.
