Democratic Senator Introduces Bill To Abolish The Electoral College

Ok--So I have researched the 10 states that are in favor of the National Popular Vote. And guess what---Calinoisyork is one of the states. The rest are no surprises either. In any event, it's highly likely that there won't be a lot of interest beyond those 10. This deal will not pass and will be a footnote in history.

The Framers were geniuses indeed. It may seem unfair to loose an election and win a popular vote, but it is one of those things that hold our nation together. The smaller states voice is heard, and everyone knows that they are participating in electing our leaders.

Electoral college is here to stay. Yes, it recently benefited last 2 GOP Presidents, but no one knows the future. Look at Trump complaining about it in 2012, and it is exactly what brought him presidency.

Go West Young Democrat. We've saturated the cities, now we need to move out into the unknown where the Republicans live and take over.
