People who think that the electoral college should be abolished are extremely misguided. There would be no more campaigning in more rural areas and those folks would lose their voice. Candidates would start up shop only in Southern California, Chicago, New York etc. so that they could win the popular vote. The rest of the country be damned.

Now, the truth of the matter is that the Hillary may have won the pop vote , but she did it in just a few states. Calinoisyork, for example. Whereas Donald Trump had a WIDESPREAD appeal. In addition, it could be argued successfully that had Trump campaigned in Calisnoisyork, she may not have won the popular vote at all.

She knows this has zero chance of passing but will get plenty of campaign miles to the idiot leftist base. Complete waste of time and money, but that is what they do best.
