that is 20 times my usual capital in live.......WTF should i start with a million usd? start with 5 usd

Demo account also useful

if i had demo account 30 years back,i would have saved a lot of time because i could make a hell of a lot more trades than on my actual money.

demo is useless? it is like saying screw driver is useless....but the real issue is that you are trying to open a bolt

Demo account can be used to testing trading strategy or expert advisors, I see there are so many traders trying to convince people to use demo account, demo account becomes second place after backtesting use strategy tester. Yes, a screwdriver is useful when we want to open a bolt.

are you smarter than so many traders?...it is useful because you can overtrade and learn which trades are good........it is stupid to lose money which you can NEVER get back

An online demo account is an excellent way to learn the basics of forex trading, practice your skills before using real money, know whether you like trading in the forex market, and familiarize yourself with a trading platform.

I think demo is very useful in the beginning to help you practice and build a strategy. Once you have that though and it appears to be doing well that doesn't mean then go and slap 10k in an account and go live (unless you can lose that much). Start small and build as the psychological aspect of trading live aren't there on demo.
