Not really a replica i suppose. Trading on a demo account is far different than a real account because of emotions and money involved. But yes for a newbie, demo is a must.

I agree as well, Demo should be used first before going live for the first time and switching to live without trading in Demo or just few days with it can end in only loss.

demo is really good to be a knowledgable trader as a new forex trader , if demo is not free , people would trade there seriously , no real money there is , so no emotions and seriousness work when trading in there.

We always advised by the senior traders and experts just for learning. but I think we the newcomers have to practice trading besides learning process. Demo account is more appropriate for them and as a learning Process newcomers can depend on Pips School.

no way to deny your message, its the best place to test your strategy , i always use all my trading approach in demo to see the performance how it works , and this helps me a lot to avoid unfortunate losses when trading in a real account.
