That’s right, demo, though important, is just limited to letting the trader know about the basics of how to trade. But the real problem which most beginners face, that is how to tackle emotions while trading, can be dealt with only when trading through real account.Emotions are the main key of trading and learning, Demo is just for learning the tools and activity. Main part is emotions and feelings which we have to control.
Looks like a harmful recommendation to me. We have to do our best to avoid emotions or stress in trading because it is a direct source of mistakes. After I realised that I started to develop automated trading solutions because manual trading quickly (or sometimes slowly) pushes you out of emotional balance where mistakes start to occur frequently.
