If there was an honest media in this country, NoBiden would have been booted before the first primary. Is this guy really going to be POTUS?
I hope not.
There were multiple candidates much better than Biden (Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Delaney, etc), but when you have 20+ people running having the most name recognition helps a ton as the GOP also found out in 2016. When it came down it there was a panic coalescing around the known commodity to beat Bernie. If there was an honest media in this country, NoBiden would have been booted before the first primary.

It's because there's too many candidates. A former VP is going to have a base of 25% support just by the fact he was the former VP and everybody knows who he is. Everybody open to another candidate (not Bernie or Biden) was very splintered. If there were like 5 candidates instead of 25 or whatever the hell it was, maybe a third candidate could have emerged as an alternative to two guys who should be closer to moving into a nursing home than the White House.I think this is a failed strategy. Hillary had name recognition in 2016, didn't work for her.
I think the country wants, even needs new blood in the race. I know I do.
