Again, with the Trump the new normal is people don't care if you sexually harrass, boast about it, or may have known about it. If the electorate is fine with it, I guess I have to be as well.

Except this is a dem candidate and it is sort of an inconvenient development out in metooville when one of your key staffers has been doing funky stuff and being paid off and moved around and the candidate allegedly does not know. Hillary took some recent hits from the metoo types for suppressing complaints in her campaign but she is not running- or is she?
She knew with absolute certainty that Kavanaugh was molesting women decades ago but could not see anything going on with a staffer who has been with her for years and who she brought to dc from California. What's wrong with that picture class?
Let em work it out on the playground. It won't be bad for the first few months when everyone is in the "we all need new leadership" kumbaya phase. Later on down the road when they are tearing each other a new arsehole for primary votes, she will take a lot of heat on this from DEMOCRATS- nevermind about trump voters.
To be fair, Dems need to learn from GOP in 2016 and not commit so many murder suicides during primary debates. In order to stand out they are going to try and tear each other down while ripping into Trump and look like a hot mess. Every little thing is going to be used and if Kamala gets a lot of popularity into October then you could easily see another candidate saying we are going against Trump and misogony and Kamala did not know within her own office this was going on yada yada yada.

Yeh, Kamala has a more delicate dance than some of them will because she is one of the party's top tier candidates- thus, she has a shot at both the nomination and Plan B if Sherrod Brown or someone wants to pick her as his VP. So she has to fend off the challengers but not so viciously and vitriolacallerarralarily that you lose the vp slot. The marginal players can pile it on just to get the attention because they know they are not going anywhere.
