There is no surprise that vaccinated anti-bodies wane. The current generation of COVID-19 vaccines were only expected to be effective for 1 to 2 years before a booster is required. Plan properly to rollout the boosters and it will not be an issue.

The bigger issue is the generation of new vaccine-evasive COVID variants out of the unvaccinated. Hence the importance of getting everyone vaccinated.

And my quote supports the short term situation - -exactly as described from the Israeli studies. The effectiveness of the vaccines in stopping the spread of the Delta variant has dropped to 35% or so. The effectiveness of vaccines in stopping severe cases of Delta is still high.

This is why the U.S. and other countries are recommending the vaccinated mask up due to the Delta variant.

When you switch the original variant with the Delta variant the vaccines effectiveness against serious illness is still high. What part of this do you fail to understand?

The Israeli study showed data over several months with evidence that the vaccine effectiveness against severe illness for the Delta variant stayed the same. But the effectiveness of stopping the spread of the Delta variant dropped month after month. Note however the effectiveness of the vaccine for both factors against the original COVID remained the same. It only changed for the Delta variant.

This study regarding effectiveness with the Delta variant is a totally different subject than antibody immunity waning over a longer period of time.

CDC caught in it's own web of bullshit. So they're telling us that just this past weekend we went over the 7 day average of cases seen last summer. So why were we shutdown last summer and not this summer? This is proof positive that there was no need to shutdown last year, NONE!!! The virus runs it's course, variant or not, jab or not, shutdown or not. Some will die, the OVERWHELMING majority will not. End all talk of potential shutdowns immediately. Everyone, back at it, back to work, back to living life as a free people. Covid isn't a extinction level event threat, never was. Let's quit pretending that it is or was.

Amid a possible fourth wave of COVID-19, Ontario data shows that unvaccinated adults aged 60-plus were 15 times more likely to be hospitalized due to the virus than those of the same age group who were fully vaccinated.

Ontario chief medical officer of health Dr. Kieran Moore revealed the data during a COVID-19 update Tuesday.

“We all know that the Delta strain — currently the dominant strain in Ontario — is more transmissible than the original COVID-19 strain and more likely to cause severe disease,” Moore said.

“This data shows that these vaccines are safe and very effective at preventing you from being hospitalized, admitted to the intensive care unit, or dying from this disease.”

Moore said the data is from the past month.

Moore also said that over the past month, those who were unvaccinated were eight times more likely to get infected with COVID-19 compared to those who were fully vaccinated.

He said breakthrough cases — referring to those who get infected 14 days after receiving their final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine — “seem to be very, very rare” in Ontario.

For those who are fully vaccinated and do get infected, Moore said their illness is less serious than for those who are unvaccinated.

“The symptoms will be milder, they’ll be shorter, they’ll resolve quicker, you’ll have typically less virus in the front of your nose and the ability to spread virus will be less,” he said.

True since Jan. 2020, and more so today. trump tried to close the border to slow down the spread, the left wouldn't have it. It can be successfully argued that since grabbing power the left has, with malicious intent, purposely allowed hundreds of thousands of illegals, tens of thousand of whom have Covid, into the country to further the spread. This leaves us with two and only two options to choose from when asking why would they do this.
1. Covid isn't all that much of a threat and never has been.
2. They aren't serious about stopping the spread because keeping it active allows them to govern by decree.
