No. The Q6600 is perhaps the best loved CPU of all time by enthusiasts... For a trading rig, you don't need 525W PSU... 375W is plenty.

The bigger power supply is for those who want to add more video cards etc. You don't need the extra power.
It's 375W, not 325W... right?
The computer will only draw the amount of power it needs... up to the max output of the PSU.
Modern computers run about 150-180W at idle, so 375W is plenty. Unless, of course, you're going to run a couple of 8800GTS for your graphics... THEN you could use a bigger PSU.
As an FYI, I trade for a living, I am running 4 IB accts, 3 MB accts, 1 futures, yada yada, etc.. bottom line, use two computers, I don't care how fast, the great warranty, this and that, specs bla bla. All it takes is one problem and if your down, you lose whatever cost saving you have had .
I build my own, the only time I have purchased a computer is a laptop . Believe me, its a cheap education vs spending your time trying to work out a problem while your positions are toast. Most of the store bought computers are saving $$ via cheap video cards or chip sets, cost cutting with motherboards, and power supplies,etc.. yes they sell the sizzle and the world loves the specs.
I speak from experience since I am retired from selling active and passive components for 30 years. I started with mini computers before 8088, and my sales were around $38 Million a year.

It's not just the video cards that can draw extra power off of a power supply unit, but the microprocessor also is supported by the +12v rail of a power supply unit.
More importantly, the main reason for preferring a power supply of 400â500 W is that most power supplies operate most efficiently, and generate less cooling noise, when operating at approximately 50% of capacity.
FYI: I have owned a T3400 Precision for exactly one year now and it has been completely trouble-free.
