I just got a new Dell. How do you burn a copy of the OS images?

(Having the original OS image on the hard drive is great, but how long is it going to take the high school kids to figure out how to corrupt those images?)

I purchased a Dell Dimension 4700 last December...It arrived with the O/S CD and other software CD's but I couldn't find the owners manual in any of the boxes....I went through every box at least 2 times and nothing...

Finally, I came to find out it is installed ON the computer...but my not having much knowledge regarding computers, what good is it on my computer if my computer shuts down and won't start back up or won't start at all...how will I be able to go to the owners manual to try and troubleshoot if it is stuck inside of my dead computer? and do you who also purchased a Dell receive a owners manual booklet or is yours also installed on your computer by Dell?
