I am a dell reseller, meaning I buy there surplus parts, off lease stuff etc. and you do not need codes etc. for best prices. most cities in the usa have someone that will sell you a great machine for about 50% retail cost. I would look for those deals first. it has been my experience that if an electronics item is going to have a real problem that a warranty is going to cover it is going to happen within 30 days of use. save your money and frustration calling india for tech support, besides you can find stuff with dell warranty still available if that is a must for you.
i got a 1.6 inspiron 600m 512, 60, 14sxga, 802.11b, 1 year warranty for 750+tax+ship. can you beat that?
