Dell Coupon

i had second thoughts on the dell d600 after hanging out on the dell boards, and cancelled my order. anyone happen to have an IBM friends and family 15% coupon lol? would definitely help price an r40 or t40 down to dell sized dimensions.

it doesnt seem to jive with some opinions expressed here on et, but reading in notebook forums, preferences for the quality and design of thinkpads over dells seems ubiquitous. can anyone say, is the r40 a significant step down from the t40?

i would love to consider the superior video and port capabilities on the fujitsus and sonys, but the vaio is overpriced even perhaps more than ibm, and i cant get my hands on a fujitsu anywhere, also feel like i might be taking a chance on a less common machine. not to mention i'm a 1024x768 guy, and the SXGA+ (or better) screens are beyond my needs anyway.

any r40 users out there?

This machine is only 1024 x 768.

You will not go wrong with it (unless you cannot stand chicklet keyboards,) and the XBRITE screen is out of this world. [BUT DOUBLE CHECK THAT IT IS XBRITE, AS SOMETIMES THE SPECS ON ECOST ARE WRONG.]

If you want to see other with XBRITE, see

This is the one I want:

I remember seeing a dell coupon for a free jukebox or pda with a purchase. Anyone know of a coupon where I can still get this deal? Thanks
