Positive rebase yesterday 4.5% , positive rebase today 7.1%, tomorrow if price of Ampl stays mostly above $2, then we may experience a positive rebase of 10%

It's not dividend, it's an expansion of the coin supply across all wallets, think of it as a stock split, so no one is gaining more share than other holders

It occurs in reverse, so a reverse stock split, during negative rebases

Sheepishly.... Cut losses (for now?)

The positive rebase only lasted 3 days for me. Sad, unsure of why it crashed so fast from a strong rebase of over $2 price to negative rebase in less than 48 hours, perhaps lots of Ampl bagholders as it has not been a good crypto performer for many months

It was ~$4K loss, position was ~$13K risk capital, sold for ~$9K

There's a proposal AIP (ample improvement protocol) to increase the APY cap on AAVE to 10,000% and if it passes (maybe in a couple of weeks) the governance voting process, I may come back to the trade
