I've got ATI analog cards (which I may not want to change as all the drivers are friendly). When I plug in a LCD, the display is just fine. If I get DVI cables for a digital LCD, do I get better display on my ATI cards? (ATI has recently come out with a digital, 21 pin card, but I don't know if it's friendly with my AIW tuner... gotta have my daily HeeHaw, you know.) :D

Excellent price indeed. If I wanted to add 2 - 12 more monitors, I would just add more G200 MMS quad cards, they run out of PCI slots, and all cards would run from 1 driver. With the G200 you can run a max total of 16 monitors from 1 computer.

Its the most efficient, reliable and cost effective MMS available in the current market... thanks to Ebay.

For $719, plus 5% off, plus a no questions asked return policy... I would grab these while they last.

For all intensive purposes, this is the same monitor.

But it doesn't seem to work any more :(. It rated LCDs, the 191T was number one, and the Dell was number 4 on their ranking list. Just so you know, the specs do not match the Samsung, weight is different, size is different and the power consumption is different, among other things. The major point of the review was they rated the graphic capabilities of the 191T as outstanding, and the Dell was very good. That suggests (to me) that in a side-by-side comparision, the Dell would be slightly inferior. Not that it's crappy monitor or anything, but it's not the same as the 191T.

Screw PC World Mag, what a bunch of idiots :mad: They did not show the specs on both models, only the Dell.

The "ONLY" difference between the Samsung 191T and the Dell 1900FP is that the Samsung has a Portrait mode, that is it.

I have (1) Samsung 191T and (5) Dell 1900FP, they are "Identical" absolutely no difference except one says Dell, the other Samsung. Same body, same swivel, same color, same Owners manual from Samsung (Not Dell) cables, everything is the same. I spoke to Dell Tech b4 I ordered these 5 monitors, they confirmed that all Dell did was have them delete swivel (to keep cost down) and rebadge with Dell name. I have all my monitors side by side, there is no difference at all.

I paid $624 last month with a rebate from www.ebate.com including Free UPS shipping.

Very happy user :D

BTW, try and buy a true Samsung model with a 30 day no questions asked return policy, aint gonna happen.

Take it from me, I have both models, they are Identical.

Do you really think Samsung would allow Dell to copy the 191T to identical specs :confused:

Give me a break.

All the info, owners manual, licensing agreements, etc...are all Samsung, in the Dell box :D
 
how do you determine defective pixels? Sorry I don't any LCDs presently but will be in the market to buy in about a month's time.
