Deciphering the IB Account Statement

For anyone who has wired money into IB...

If 100K is wired into an IB account at 1 pm on a Friday afternoon, will that be reflected in the account statement, say before Saturday afternoon? Or is not posted until Monday's statement?

what timezone? if you made the wire request from your bank @ 1PM... chances are that might have been after your local bank's cutoff... usually, their cut-off for same day is noon or 1PM... if it was after their cut-off, then it will reflect the next business day... so it will show @ IBKR on monday... and if posted on monday, then you will see on monday's statement...

IMHO... it is always best to wire in the morning on EST TZ if you know you are doing it... it then all takes place the same day and you dont have to worry about anything... specially when dealing with $100...

It depends when your sending bank gets around to sending the next wire batch. I've sent wires to IB in the early afternoon (1-2pm EST) and had them post to IB before the close. If you were sure you needed it there, I'd send it before 11am.
