How many of you guys were around during


70's stagflation (I was trying to get a job right out of college at the time - no luck)

87 mini crash (tending bar and partying heavily)

90's recession (fortune 5 job but still partying bigtime)

911 (bad bad time)


01-02 recession (fortune 5 job big house 3 kids - still partying heavily)


recessions come and go
the partying never ends

Its about time to accept we are in a recession and move on. If not keep fearing the worst (which of course never happens) and keep staying negative adding some stupidity that can keep our temple down forever. Its your choice, live it or leave it. If you keep shredding the stocks and markets and throwing hissy fits like yesterday and today and indulging in a negative pastime of pessimism that isn't the answer. There are no silver bullets left in the chambers. Grow up and face the world, like a man, or pee in your pants like a coward.

Funny thing is that those panicky rate cuts and 'stimulus' package (borrowing from China so consumers can spend an extra few percent on Chinese goods for a couple of months) will do way more to screw this country than indecision about whether we're in a recession or not. The 'answer' is to purge the rottenness out of the system, not to perpetuate it.

WRONGO.

You became a retail " real estate speculator" trying to game the markets and it has backfired on you. You are deluded to think real estate condo you have been eyeing for 2 years will become your dream. Unless you have 10% down + closing costs + documenting your income, forget it. You will never own it. Lenders and lending community have become increasing difficult. Those days are gone.

I post on MANY threads, dont flatter yourself that I am stalking you.

If you want people to stop giving you a hard time, stop creating so many threads. Either that, or stop poking fun at all daytraders who profit from DOWN markets. Sorry but I cannot help which direction the markets go, all I can do is jump on for the ride.
