The US shouldn't default this decade (unless the GOP forces it), but if they don't make changes to entitlements or have massive unprecedented economic growth it will happen. The main country to watch right now is Italy. They look to have an economic catastrophe coming.

The Covid factor should lessen, but I'm not so sure about the drug use. The drugs people are getting high on are deadlier than ever.
You will when you're 65. A significant amount of people have health problems by their mid 60s. It gets harder to get up and go to work, and especially to work standing up all day.
