With even higher tax rates than we have now the economy became the largest in the world and accounts for almost a third of global gdp. Your capital won't be missed. We attract more FDI here than any other country in the world. Capital loves the U.S.

The banks did a bad job of determining risk and are re-writing contracts because they would rather do that than end up with a a bunch of real estate. When both parties to a contract agree to change the contract we allow that here.

With baby boomers retiring your taxes are going nowhere but up so their medical bills get paid. Ditto for the entire western world and China.

Everyone wishes they could pay less tax (myself included) but it is unlikely in the future. Don't let the anger kill you. The internet infrastructure you are using to vent was (over)paid for by sheeple that stupidly bought tech stocks with little or no earnings.

Take advantage of manias and mistakes of others. Make money. Pay the tax. Live better than they do.

The US was well on it's way to being an economic powerhouse BEFORE there were any income taxes. The economy has continued to grow despite taxes, NOT because of them.

Eventhough internet existed since the 70's... chances are much of the info that you send and receive goes throught infraestructure that was developed thanks to the .com bubble.

Well if you want to get technical, the statement is still false because people buying tech stocks (outside of IPOs) were not paying for the internet, they were simply buying an overvalued asset. :)

Why should I pay, tax upon tax upon tax upon tax upon Tax, then have to pay more taxes on "BIG TICKET ITEMS", then Pay more taxs when i SIN.

I don't mind paying Fed Tax, but come on, make it a flat tax. 15% of a Million is more than 15% of 30k.
Flat Tax is fair, progressive taxation is not!

And even if you work hard, Capitalism does not guarantee you will make it.
