Hi Max, good to see you're still down here. Seems like most of the lefties got the hell out of dodge. Ricter of course is a permanent resident.
Hows trading been? This has to be the worst market i have ever seen, we cant even get a 2% pullback, one of these years i will learn to just take the whole summer off and save myself tens of thousands of dollars.
Reminds me of an interesting op/ed piece I saw recently, "The Fed Talks Too Much".

The Federal Reserve talks too much
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. (MarketWatch) â The Fed is puzzled by the lack of volatility in the financial markets, but its open-mouth policy is the chief reason for it.
In my view, a calm market is a good thing. Instability and fireworks may be good for traders, but if you want the proverbial man or woman on the street to invest, you need a peaceful environment.
This kind of backdrop instills confidence in economic policy, and thus, in the economy itself. In turn, it leads to higher stock prices and more spending by investors, business and consumers.
Volatile markets can lead to the reverse. The experience of 1987 is a case in point.
For most of that year, stock prices were bouncing around, up one day and down the next, with lots of intraday trading. The swings gradually widened until the middle of October. On Friday, Oct. 16, the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA -0.73% fell by over a 100 points, which at that time represented a drop of about 4%. "

Is it your perception that the entirety of GOP/TP constituents want children on the street with no money, no care, no parents, no structure?
That would appear to be the case given their efforts to cut food stamps, deny availability of daycare, deny unemployment benefits, deny access to abortion, deny access to contraceptives, eliminate free hot breakfasts and school lunches, end preschool programs, etc.
If their constituents have different ideas, they need to acquaint their leaders with this fact and effect some changes in how these platforms are constructed and presented.
Food stamp cut was 4%. $40 billion over 10 years. Food stamps are up 50% from 31 million to almost 48 million since Odumbo became dictator in charge. Fraud is well known. So a small cut makes sense.
Daycare is available for the poor.
Families with very low income might be able to become eligible for receiving daycare service free of charge, in which case you will not be required to make a co-payment to the licensed care provider. CCIS will make the entire payment to the licensed provider on your behalf.
Uhhhh, one can't get unemployment benefits unless they have had a job. So the slackers get their welfare checks. And unemployment benefits are available to anyone who can prove they had a job and qualify. What's so difficult here?

Ending free hot breakfasts and school lunches? LOL Hey clueless, 92% of the kids I work with get BOTH free breakfast AND free lunch. And it's very common in Title I schools. Get out of the house and visit a local high poverty school and educate yourself.
As far as ending pre-school programs ... no, actually pre-school programs are expanding.
