Daytrading may die this year

the daytrade community may dwindle down to nothing as few daytraders are able to weather the storm. that said, with all the unemployed wallstreeters, perhaps some will resort to trading. i mean, where else will an unemployed wall street guy go if he can't find a job?
any comments,just bored.

As long as there is any volatility it will never die, altho it will and has already been pared down a bit. Its cyclical.

Probably similar to the late 70's, some relocate for similar jobs and others change careers. Life goes on, it's time--that's all. Just part of the cycle.

They adapt, we adapt and the market adjusts just like it always has and always will.

Quite frankly, I really don't understand the question . . . what kind of market environment ( "storm" ) is currently preventing day-traders from making money?

Can you be a lot more specific?
