P.S. Then why the rich men don't file their divorces outside US or EU where they don't have to split their fortunes?
Is there any law in their country prohibiting them from doing this?

I doubt international divorce lawyers are frequent here.

My ex is now starting to call me during overnight hours and multiple times during the day instead of once a week like before.

Be careful. She might just come knocking your door with a knife at night. Most women are very emotional. Never underestimate their craziness.

I am talking about half of the future profits of the "business", even though it isnt filed as a business. Could she be considered half owner of the business, therefore half the future profits of it, even after the money split?

If it was a retail business that was opened, lets say a drug store, she would be entitled to half the business including half the future profits. Would that be the case with being an independent daytrader who doesnt file as a separate business, just Sched D & Form 8949?

I think its state specific. IN TN. We have no state income tax, but i think the spouse gets half of Roth/retire. They get alimony + child support........Do expect , if goes to court,her lawyer + the judge to go over your 8949 + all your tax records with a fine tooth comb. BUT in your favor, most daytraders dont make a profit
