In my native country alimony is limited to the duration of the marriage. So: married 2 years means 2 years of alimony.

In most places in the US, it's up to half of the duration of the marriage unless she's a total slacker.

Real men, don't let a woman take nothing from them from the start. In my relationship(s), I tell my women, if we get married, we not getting no damn divorce. That is understood from the start.

That is delusional thinking. Divorce is always a possibly.

Possibly. But it's also very fundamental to who he is... Making it your job to make someone else happy is a signal of co-dependence and co-dependent people are very wary of having their worldview shattered.

well i would not call it a job
