Daytrading Breakouts in the ES

Johnny Rotten has been banned. Technically he can still log in, but his account is frozen, he cannot post anything, he cannot read or write PMs, and he cannot use the search function. Censoring a post or two is one thing, but to outright ban him and then openly lie about it is another. How do I know this to be true? Because I am him. What do all you neutrals now think about your friendly moderators who are just doing their job?

I realize that this username will also be banned and this post pulled. But it doesnât matter because Iâve already contacted all the people I wanted to with the truth, so the damage has been done. I have well and truly proved my point about the Establishment round here. The sad thing is that if left uncensored, I would have seen off the likes of Ditch and Walter in about three pages and everyone would have moved on, after having a good laugh along the way. But no, the moderators prefer to let Ditch run riot uncensored and kill the thread, than allow Johnny to say anything further. How predictable.

Iâm thinking of starting a private email list with select members of my choice. I wonât even consider âchatâ on this web site because my time with ET is over. Of course, Iâm pleased to have been banned because it is vindication for everything I ever said. And Iâve been able to have a good laugh at the expense of some yanks along the way!

Now whereâs me pint?!

I wasn't trading in hindsight, merely proposing a reason you might be trying to make a trade out of what you thought was a setup in the afternoon. The "frownie face" you used suggested that you were disappointed that you didn't take it.

I have been a lurker on this forum for the past year and rarely does anyone come on here with anything as insightful and not canned information (eg. cut losses, and let profits run) such as JR.

As an observer, it nearly seems to me that it was the intention of some members to make sure JR did not elaborate on his breakout system.

This is not to say that there are not some really quality discussions and contributors on ET, but it is a shame that some people have to take it upon themselves to put an end to such a quality thread.

Whether JR reincarnates himself on ET or not, I hope more members take his stance and try to add some real value for not only the 'regulars" on ET, but also the "lurkers" who come to ET as a piece of their journey towards profitable trading.

Not likely. Those who have posted detailed strategies have learned that there's little upside to doing so since no effort is made to delete disruptive posts. Instead, you're told that your strategy is a lot of crap and that you're a loser and your mother's a whore and so on and so on and so on.

You, for example, will probably receive some of this nonsense because the above was your first post.

A few people do know what they're doing. Good luck on finding them.
