Daytrading Breakouts in the ES

Unfortunately, bagger, a day or two doesn't make a system. When you've worked something out over the course of months, if not years, then you may have something to discuss. Otherwise, you're just tempting suckers into throwing their money at something that may be no more than luck.

Look, tntneo is just doing his job. A job that he is not paid to do. He is just following the rules of the site, which he, I and the other moderators volunteered for because we like what this site has to offer and want to keep it a viable place for exchanging ideas. I am glad that JR posted his trading style and has been so willing to answer everyone's questions. I totally agree with him about the guru/groupie thing. I laughed my butt off on the Hershey thread. But if he must leave because he, for whatever reason, doesn't want to follow the rules, then so be it. It is a loss for everyone. But Baron owns this site, it is not protected by the first amendment. He set the rules that we all agreed to when we joined, and we, as moderators are trying to follow them to the best of our ability. Do things slip through? Yes. Are we perfect? No. A lot of latitude was shown to JR as he posted, as was the interaction from others.
Don't criticize tntneo or whoever because you don't like the fact that someone who decided not to play by the rules wants to take his ball and go home. Sorry he feels that way. No one can change that. If you want the rules changed, let Baron know instead. Otherwise you are just killing the messenger. It sure beats Yahoo and the rest.

Just a quick summary . I asked JR about his method w/l ratio and how many trades it generated, he insulted me and I fought back.
His groupies joined in and all hell broke loose.
What I find interesting that NOBODY even tried to dispute my claims about JR's method not being profitable and prove me wrong . Reason is that I was right about this method . Funny thing is that none JR groupies, who bloodied themselves eagerly to earn his contempt , has idea about validity of this method.
I WILL FIGHT NO MORE, FOREVER.

The rules in and of themselves are not the problem. The problem to a larger extent has to do with the wide variability that occurs in application depending on the individual moderator, plus the wide latitude given to certain members that is not extended to other members who are not as favored.
I doubt that anyone benefitting from the thread would go so far as to complain about the language to a moderator. And even if he did, nobody's forcing him to read it. As for those who weren't following the thread, who cares?
Members rip into each other all the time and the moderators do nothing. So let's not get into a big moral how-do-you-do about the rules.

asshole. But he did give a good contribution to the site with his

I don't disagree with you. I only know two of the moderators personally. I do not know how any of the others choose to do their job. That is between them and Baron. I have never favored one member over another. I am just giving you the general position that moderators are in. We try to do our best. If you don't like it, then become one and help out.
