daytrade or swing trade?

Hey ADX,
Good poll. I didn't vote because I do both. I started out daytrading, and started swing trading several years after. I find that after many of my swings begin to reach stop or target, they present daytrading opportunities. Daytrading those swing allows me to trade them with more conviction and certainty (for lack of a better word), since I have a good grasp of the larger timeframe. To be more specific, the daytrades are held for several hours, more like intra day position trading.
It would be interesting to see the poll results if you added tw more:

Could you please tell me what you consider the difference between day and swing trading?
